Shawn Dalrymple, a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army, serves as the Commanding Officer of ArmyBassAnglers and holds the position of Owner and CEO of ArmyBassAnglers Enterprise, encompassing all Force on Force TV brands. His military background spans diverse assignments, including prestigious roles in the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions. Notably, he commanded a company during deployment in Afghanistan, participating in over 85 enemy engagements and numerous high-level missions, some chronicled in "The Afghanistan Papers."
Shawn's affinity for the outdoors emerged during his graduate school collegiate years, where he excelled in competitive fishing. He utilized his graduate school tenure at The University of North Alabama to indulge in his passion, guiding, coaching, teaching, and mentoring the fishing team to build one of the power house in college fishing. Prior to graduate school, he co-founded Warriors on The Water at Fort Bragg, NC, a successful initiative spanning 14 years, laying the foundation for his involvement with ArmyBassAnglers.
A highlight in Shawn’s ArmyBassAnglers journey was clinching victory in Season 4 and season 6, securing the distinction of being the first two-time champion.
He is originally from Huntsville, Alabama but currently call Shepherdsville Kentucky home. Shawn’s personal best largemouth is a 10.25 lbs from Lake Pickwick and favors utilizing offshore fishing with electronics for his go to strengths on the water.
